phpbb is free and free hosted all you need is a link to it.. if you want to go that route, otherwise i would go with bluehost.com they offer by far the best hosting package available. if you are looking for free hosting, freehostia.com isnt bad.

There is a lot of resource like free templates, tools, web hosting,etc for the registered user. The registeration is free.
