What's a good site for web hosting and domain name?

I want to start a website for my husband%26#039;s auto body business. I%26#039;ve heard of godaddy.com, but it seems some people aren%26#039;t really happy with them. Could you recommend other sites that you can register a name with, and build a website?

What%26#039;s a good site for web hosting and domain name?

for web hosting i use http://www.000webhost.com as its simple ad free, free emails, 5 FTPs loads of free websites and its generally good and for web domain i use http://www.smartdots.com/ though you do get a small ad at the top and you also get loads of free stuff like emails and forums etc...

What%26#039;s a good site for web hosting and domain name?

I think GoDaddy is the best that you will fine. I don%26#039;t know why some people don%26#039;t like them. I think they will do perfectly fine for you. I can even give you a coupon code for GoDaddy.com that will get you $10 off any order over $40 or more (which means $10 off domain and hosting) the code is: DIGG5

I wouldn%26#039;t use GoDaddy%26#039;s web building services though. They suck big time. Better to either learn web coding yourself or hire someone to do it. and you don%26#039;t have to pay lots of money for a site nowadays so you should be able to find a good deal

Other Replys:if you want your site to show up in google, yahoo don%26#039;t make site with built in web editors.... i can offer my services

Other Replys:GoDaddy is okay for domain name registration. There are several reasons why I no longer use them as a web host, though. I%26#039;ve switched to HostGator and am quite happy there.

It%26#039;s a good idea to NOT get your domain name registration and your web hosting from the same company. It%26#039;s kind of like putting all your eggs in one basket, gives you no leverage when there%26#039;s a problem, and makes it a lot harder to switch one or the other if needed.

Other Replys:You can try

http://www.webserver.com.my/

my website on Visual Basic tutorial is also hosted here

http://www.vbtutor.net

it cost about USD100 a year

Other Replys:you could try fatcow.com i have it. and they are great

Other Replys:Before looking for a web hosting company do some reviews on the internet. Sites like webhostingeek.com or upperhost.com has some reviews on web hosts. I used Godaddy before too but i found their interface slow and clunky
